Islamic Awareness week Open day
Islamic Awareness week has been declared from Mon 22 Aug to Sun 29 August 2016. The purpose of Islam Awareness Week is to increase awareness about Islam and Muslims to New Zealanders. You will find information about Islam Awareness Week events happening near you. Take this opportunity to find out first hand information face to face on this faith and practices. You may be surprised to what you may learn. It may prepare you better, how to react to the radical rhetoric on the media. Also you may find useful information for those who may be new to Islam or wishing to become Muslim. Please come to our Avondale Islamic center and meet some Muslims brothers and sisters and learn about how they pray to Allah (God) five time a day. We will have some Halal food for you enjoy.
