Ramadan Mubarak to all, we would like to announce, Eid prayers will be held in following NZMA masjids/centers on Sunday/Monday (dependent on moon sighting) as per timing below:
Avondale Islamic Centre: 8.00am, 8.30 am
Birkenhead Islamic Centre: 8.00am, 9.00am
Kelston Islamic Centre: 7.45 am, 8.15 am, 8.45 am
Ponsonby Masjid: 8.00am
West Auckland Mosque, Ranui: 7:45am, 8:15am & 8:45am
We encourage our female sisters to observe Eid prayers at their homes this year and Insha Allah we will resume back to normality next year.
1. Groups of 10 persons can perform the prayer with a minimum of 1m physical distance from each other and minimum of 2m physical distance from each group. Multiple groups of 10 persons per group may be permissible or,
2. Unlimited persons may attend mass gathering provided there is at least a 2m physical distance from each other
Please note the options selected will be at the discretion of each branch and its Executive Committee. Multiple Eid-Ul-Fitr prayer sessions will be available at each branch. Please follow
each branch for exact details and timings.
