Renovation work on NZMA mosques
Recent renovation work commenced on two NZMA mosques at Avondale Islamic Centre and West Auckland Mosque in Ranui and plans on the way for the Birkenhead Islamic Centre.
The ladies of the Avondale Islamic centre’s were inconvenienced for the past two months due to the running police investigation and insurance assessment of the ladies prayer area damaged by a recent fire. The renovation build will includes a new roof, floor, windows and door with a ramp. Under floor and ceiling insulation with plenty of natural light and ventilation is the main priority. This space will be used as a over-flow prayer hall and double-up as a meeting/catering hall for the ladies Sunday meetings. We hope to have this project completed before the end of August 2015.
