New Zealand Muslim Association (NZMA) has established an Islamic Information Centre (Dawah Centre) located in the same premises as the Avondale Islamic Centre at 122-126 Blockhouse Bay Rd, Avondale, Auckland. The purpose of this centre is to provide a one stop shop for Auckland Muslim and Non-Muslim community to seek knowledge, information and guidance regarding Islam.
The centre was opened by the Secretary General of the Regional Islamic Da’wah Council of Southeast Asia and the Pacific (RISEAP) on the 27th November 2016, located at Avondale Islamic Centre, 122/126 Blockhouse Bay Road, Avondale, Auckland 1026.
NZMA Islamic Information Centre will provide the following services:
- Drop in services for the NZ Muslim community to discuss any religious, personal or cultural related matters
- One-on-One confidential appointments with Islamic Scholar
- Provide Islam related resources
- Drop in services for the wider Auckland community to gather information about Islam
- Provide resources and information on Islam to schools, communities and other organisations
- Support and strengthening of interfaith dialogue

JP Services:
Br. Sheraj Ali: Mondays 7 -8pm
Sr. Naz Sheikh: 2nd Saturday of each month 10.30 – 11.30am
